Alessandra Ambrósio Gives Birth to a Baby Boy

Alessandra Ambrósio became mother for the second time!

On Monday, May 7 the 31-year-old Brazilian model gave birth to a boy in Florianopolis, Brazil. His birth was announced on his mother’s Facebook page and by his father, Ambrósio’s fiancé Jamie Mazur, on his Twitter page.

Mazur welcomed his son publicly on the same day, writing “Can’t wait to show u around this crazy place.” Victoria’s Secret Angel posted the news on the following day, daying they are happy and the boy has stolen their hearts.

The boy’s name – Noah Phoenix – was chosen after a long consideration, the parents were trying to come up with something that would sound fine in English as well as in Portuguese, so that Ambrósio’s grandmother could pronounce it.

The couple’s first child is daughter Anja Louise, 3 ½.

Ambrósio and Mazur have been together since 2005; the first announcement concerning the second child came last December, and the gender of the baby was made known in April.
