Denise Richards Adopts a Child

Denise Richards, 40, has two daughters, Lola and Sam, 6 and 7, by her ex Charlie Sheen, but she did it a third time. Only this time it was by adoption. Her rep informed PEOPLE that the actress adopted a girl domestically.

Coming in the wake of the news was Richards’ Twitter message that thanks her fans for their kind comments and telling that her two girls and grandfather Irv “are over the moon.”

The new arrival goes by the name Eloise Joni Richards – according to the rep, Joni comes from the name of Denise’s mother, while Eloise is the collective brainwave of the three older women of the family. Eloise Joni’s sisters are happy to greet the newcomer.
