Of course, New York’s Fashion Week is just the time to look your best, and doesn’t Suri, daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, know that? The 5-year-old fashionista turned up at the event on Friday in a becoming blue dress and an unexpected pink bowler hat – with her lips an expressive bright red color!

Suri Cruise is getting an old hand with cosmetics as she has several visits to Sephora in company with Holmes more than once.

It seems neither Holmes, 32, nor Cruise, 49, feel like cutting off the budding efforts to look trendy. Last year the United Artists producer told Oprah Winfrey that his daughter will wear everything she wants to, and he’s “not going to tell her different.” Besides, he puts much stock in her taste and even follows her advice in what to wear.
