Hillary Duff Gives Birth to a Son

Hillary Duff’s latest, Dignity, dates back to 2007 – quite a time ago, but then she was busy with her family life. And she has arrived at complete happiness now that she gave birth to a boy!

Duff and her husband, NHL player Mike Comrie, married in August 2010, and just a year later, last August, she let know that she was pregnant. Later the sex of the child was revealed, and finally, on March 20, she delivered a son named Luca Cruz.

The 24-year-old mom went to Twitter to announce the great news, informing that Luca Cruz was born Tuesday evening, weighed 7 lbs 6 oz, is healthy and very much welcome! Duff and Comrie “feel like the luckiest parents in the world,” she added.

Ever since she learned she was with a baby, the singer-cum-actress had been looking forward for the time when the child will arrive. Discussing the expected birth with Us Weekly in December 2011, Duff told that everybody was saying to her to get as much sleep as she could, and she invariably replied that she was only thinking of the boy, what he will look like and how they would be playing together.

What’s more, Luca Cruz isn’t going to stop her from recording – on the contrary. Naturally, spilled Duff, during the first few months she will be learning hard how to be a perfect mom, but afterwards she is going to succumb to an itch to release a new album and go on tour. “It might take a little while but I’m really excited about it,” says the With Love singer
