Kristin Davis Is a Mom

Kristin Davis has become a mom, as PEOPLE informs. The 46-year-old actress best known as Charlotte York Goldenblatt on Sex and the City revealed in October that she had adopted a baby girl.

It was her long-time dream, she said to PEOPLE, and now that she had done it it proved to be “more gratifying” than she had thought; the actress feels blessed with the coming of the girl, Gemma Rose Davis.

Kristin Davis’s next appearance will be next year in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island; she is also a winner of the Humane Society’s 2011 Wyler Award and a global ambassador for Oxfam.
