Lara Stone Is Expecting Her First Child

When Lara Stone married British comedian David Walliams two years ago after having dated for 8 months, it was a toss-up whether they will be having children soon: the two were of different opinions about it. But now nature wins again, and Stone will give birth some time next year!

The news was broken by Walliams, 41, on Thursday via Twitter – the Come Fly with Me star shared that his supermodel wife Lara was pregnant and they were overjoyed at the prospect of becoming parents in 2013.

Dutch-born supermodel Stone, 28, is known for her work with Prada, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy and others; her photos made the attraction for international editions of Vogue, W and several issues of Pirelli Calendar. She is remembered to say to the Dutch Vogue earlier this year that she didn’t think having a baby would be as much fun as being with their puppy Bert.

For his part, Walliams has always been planning to have children with his beautiful wife. Talking to British Vogue, he said he started thinking kids when he turned 40. “By the time they leave school I’ll be about 60,” he mused. “I’ll be at the school gates waiting for them and it’ll be embarrassing because the other kids will ask, ‘Is that your granddad?’”
