Lily Allen Goes Family Way

British singer Lily Allen’s rep confirmed to UsMagazine.com that she is pregnant – the fact that won’t affect her professional commitments, and her next scheduled appearance at the Big Chill this weekend isn’t going to be canceled.

The father of the child, Sam Cooper, runs a big-time design store. Cooper and Allen have been together for something like a year, and the singer is sure that she has met the man of her dreams.

UK Sun reports Allen saying that their relationship has always run smoothly, free of bickering or vexation. “He’s told me he’ll look after me forever. That’s what I’ve always wanted,” she shared.

Allen, 25, has been pregnant before, expecting a child in December 2007 with Ed Simons of Chemical Brothers, but her pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.
