Lily Allen Loses Six-Month Baby

British singer Lily Allen’s pregnancy ended in a miscarriage after six months, as became officially known on Monday.

UsMagazine quotes her rep saying that Lily Allen and her boyfriend Sam Cooper, owner of a building company, are deeply grieved by the event and expect due respect of their privacy. A source close to the couple confirms that they are “devastated” and that it is “a difficult time for them both”.

It’s the singer’s second miscarriage after losing a child by Chemical Brothers’ Ed Simons early in 2008.

25-year-old Allen considers giving birth to a child to be the “main goal” of her life.
