Matt Damon and His Wife are Expecting to Become a Family of Six

This fall there will be six in the family of Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso. A new child will be joining the couple’s three: Alexia, 11, who is Damon’s stepdaughter, and his two daughters, Isabella, born in 2006, and Gia Zavala, who will be two next month.

The actor, interviewed Saturday at the Rio All Suites Hotel when he turned up for the Ante Up for Africa charity poker event in Las Vegas, said that his daughters are “very excited” over the oncoming child, and “track its progress in mommy’s belly”. So he can easily get the latest news about how his wife’s doing from them!

And that’s important news for him, because while Damon, 39, is carrying on the banner of Best Actor, Best Screenwriter and Sexiest Man Alive, his wife makes a good job of running the family.

Giving her full credit where it is due, Damon said at the poker event that Luciana is the perfect driving power behind his family life and a great person to talk out and sort out all kinds of problems with.

“I’m a lot easier to hire if you’re doing movies in New York,” added the movie star.
