Mel Gibson’s Daughter Will Become Multilingual

Mel Gibson became father for the eighth time last week. The celebrated actor and a winner of two Oscars for his Braveheart, Mel Gibson is doing well with the old role, skillfully changing diapers for a newly born baby girl.

Oksana Grigorieva, his girlfriend and a mother of their first child, says Mel is a great father. He has been doting and nurturing.

The baby girl was given a double name Lucia Ann after grandmothers from Gibson’s and Grigorieva’s sides. The baby was born pre-term, so the actor had to fly to Los Angeles from filming in New York. Now Lucia Ann, who weighed about 6 lbs at birth, is quickly packing on weight and has every chance to become multilingual.

The mother speaks to her daughter and sings her lullabies in Russian and in English. Oksana Grigorieva says her daughter came as inspiration and she gives her free time to compiling the collection of children’s songs.
