What’s Being a Mom for Gisele Bündchen?

Gisele Bündchen still has to adapt herself to the requirements of motherhood. Her son Benjamin was born in December 2009, and she is well into the adaptation process.

Travelling is one of the gravest issues to settle, Bündchen, 30, spilled to PEOPLE. Being the world’s most sought-after model and goodwill ambassador for the UN Environmental program, she has to move around a lot, but she and her hubby Tom Brady are fond of travelling for its own sake – and they had to cut down on it because travelling is far more onerous with a kid.

As for business trips, the supermodel took to planning her daily schedules so she could always set aside some time to spend with the family. Discussing it at the reception for the Harvard Center for Global Health and the Environment’s Global Environmental Citizen Award, she said that coming back home from work to her family is the most rewarding thing in her life. Because, she added, “I think everything Benjamin does is cute.”

And some more time is needed for being alone with her husband, New England Patriots’ quarterback Brady, 33. They grab every opportunity to date or have hikes together. Bündchen is not going to let things slide, and she said they cherish the time they spend together.

Brady has another son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Bridget Moynahan.
