Nicole Richie Pregnant with Baby #3?

No, at least not so soon, answers Nicole Richie, trying to slap down irresponsible blogging rumors with a statement delivered to UsMagazine on Friday.

Richie, 29, and her hubby Good Charlotte’s singer Joel Madden, 32, who married in December in Los Angeles, share two children, 3-year-old daughter Harlow and son Sparrow who is not yet two. Lately a number of bloggers have been claiming she was showing a baby bump in some of her recent photos.

The designer remembered for starring in The Simple Life got somewhat chafed by these ungracious allegations and wants everybody to know that she is not bearing a child! She is inclined to treat this kind of public discussion sprouting undesirable comments on other people’s bodies as “mean spirited and cruel.” Media space should better be employed for important issues other than idle – and untrue – speculation, she asserts.

Richie gave her reasons for not wanting another baby back in January on The Talk (CBS). She is not averse to the idea, but she feels it’s a bit too much to have a third baby coming on so fast after the first two!
