One Million Moms vs. Jennifer Lopez’s The Fosters Show
Jennifer Lopez is now traveling around the world with her concert tour, and at this time the U.S. non-governmental organization One Million Moms demands to ban showing a new series called The Fosters, of which J-Lo is a producer.
The filming has not even started, the actors have not been selected yet, and the “rebellious moms” have already started asking the ABC Family channel, which bought the rights to broadcast the show, to abandon the idea. The point is that the organization is unhappy with the plot of the new drama, which, in their opinion, promotes gay marriage.
The plot is focused on the story of two women, a police officer and a teacher, who raise their biological son and adopted twins. The website of the “One Million Moms” organization, which promotes the Catholic system of values, has published the following:
“Obviously, ABC has lost their minds. They haven’t let up so neither will we. ABC’s Family Channel has several anti-family programs, and they are planning on adding to that growing list. ABC Family has approved a series pilot from Jennifer Lopez’s production company, Nuyorican, about a lesbian couple and their diverse family. Many families have already discovered that ABC Family Channel is anything but family-friendly. “
“Hollywood is continuing to push an agenda that homosexuality is acceptable when scripture states clearly it is a sin. As Christians, the Bible also says that we must speak up against sin. If we remain silent then we are guilty of sin also.”
“It’s still in the pilot stage and hasn’t been picked up for a series yet. Let’s stop this dead in it its tracks.”
It is not the first time the “One Million Moms” organization protests. They have recently urged people not to buy clothes in the shops of the JC Penney brand because it invited a lesbian TV presenter Ellen DeGeneres to advertise it.
We do not believe that a child, brought up by same-sex parents, is lucky, but the problem with «The Fosters» show is mostly fabricated. If Hollywood shoots actions and other movies with shooting and killing (which is also known to be a mortal sin), doesn’t this mean that Hollywood promotes murder?
