Why Doesn’t Pregnant Victoria Beckham Pose Nude?

This is going to be one hectic year for Victoria Beckham – what with her fourth child just on the verge of arriving, expected next week, and her spring 2012 dress collection, Victoria by Victoria Beckham, getting ready for launching. But it’s all in a year’s work for the fashion designer, 37. As she told Women’s Wear Daily, in spite of her feeling “like juggling glass balls” or, in other words, like any average working mum, she considers herself “blessed” and quite happy with the way things are marching along.

One thing she doesn’t have to do, though, is stocking her oncoming daughter’s wardrobe – for she has already done that. There is nothing outlandish for the baby, just French clothing that she deems suitable for a little girl who ought to look like one.

While her daughter may soon start out as a young fashionista, Victoria Beckham feels proud to show everything she’s gotten – except for her body. While there should be some who would love to see her displaying her baby bump, the designer herself doesn’t feel it appropriate.

Beckham, feeling “so blessed and so happy” with her pregnancy, believes, nevertheless, that her naked body bearing the child is for her husband David Beckham solely. She doesn’t look upon the desire to show off their baby bumps on part of some women as something improper, it’s just that she is “not that kind of person,” says the posh mother.
