Swimming Makes Children Smarter
Swimming lessons make children smarter. This is written in The Epoch Times with reference to a study conducted by the researchers from Griffith Institute for Educational Research (Australia).
The experts have been observing 180 children aged three to five years for three years. It was found that the children, who began to swim in their first years of their life, found it easier to master other skills: math, verbal and visual-motor skills (drawing, coloring, and cutting lines and shapes).
The abilities did not depend on the gender of the children and socio-economic level of their families. The children were influenced namely by their lessons in the pool.
