Child Cured of HIV

The miracle took place with a two-year-old American girl. She was healed from congenital HIV.

Doctors did not know that the pregnant woman was HIV-positive. When the mother delivered a baby and got a positive result of the HIV test, pediatricians, who included Dr Hannah Gay, started treatment within the first 30 hours after birth. The baby girl was immediately appointed three antiretrovirals, which she was receiving during the following year and a half.

After the first days of treatment, the tests showed that the blood HIV level had dropped significantly. After a complete course of treatment, the virus disappeared from the blood completely. During the next 10 months, the doctors tested the girl again and again, but the virus was not detected, even with the help of super-sensitive tests.

Unfortunately, this method does not work with adults.
