7 Fun Tips for You & Your Kid
Keeping your baby entertained is not quite so simple an affair as it may seem. The thing is that the parent ought to be involved too, not just performing a boring duty and keen to get away from the game at the earliest opportunity. Far better to love playing as much as the baby does! So the advice is to look around for ways of entertainment that will keep both the parent and the kid happy.
1. Listening to music
Who says you have to limit yourself to children’s music solely? You can perfectly well play your favorites and expect your baby to share your delight, feel the rhythm. It’s additional fun if you sing along and move to the music. You can also induce the baby to dance and move with you, adding the bonus of an exercise to the fun.
2. Strolling together
The area around your home may be utterly familiar to you, but hardly so to the baby. The smallest changes in the environment, a plane flying overhead or a hedgehog rustling underfoot will make a fine attraction. Why not take the baby about pointing out flowers, cats and dogs, and explaining them to him, letting him enjoy your attention and fresh-air walk that you make exciting.
3. Drawing and painting
You won’t get bored drawing and painting, it’s simple and pure fun that never grows stale on you and the baby. You don’t need anything special, and you don’t have to be a pro – your baby will enjoy spending time with you and seeing you being creative, that’s more than enough for great family fun!
4. Taking lessons
There should be various mom and baby classes in the nearest recreation center. They are usually not costly, and you can enroll for some. It will help you to see what the little one has an inclination for, apart from trying out different experiences for yourself and your kid. Swimming is particularly useful and healthy, teaching the baby to feel the body and movements.
5. Animal watching
You don’t need to take your baby to the zoo to enjoy animal watching. Instead of stumping up money and go all the trouble of driving out, why not visit a local pet shop? Plenty to see there, so many different animals easy to observe, and if you take a camera along it will make additional fun. You are sure to go back with a couple of cute shots and probably some interesting information to boot.
6. Water games
Splashing around is probably one of the most amusing activities your baby is sure to enjoy. If you want pure fun, fill the tub and go in yourself – or stay close and try and dodge the dear one’s water attacks! With a few toys thrown in, you can play so that the time will pass by unnoticed.
7. Visiting a fabric shop
Now that may seem a little more like an adult pastime, but if you consider the touching possibilities of the place, you may agree that the baby will love to finger various kinds of cloths and fabrics. Feathers, leather, other craft items are also excellent for this purpose. Without obligation to buy anything you can arrange a memorable tactile feast for the baby – and be surprised at how much you liked it, too!
A little imagination will allow you to break the gaming monotony and ensure that you and the little one find new delights in the world around you.
