Drew Barrymore Welcomes a Daughter

Drew Barrymore has welcomed her first child together with husband Will Kopelman – a baby girl. The parents named the girl Olive.

Drew’s daughter was born on September 26th, but the press have started writing about it just recently. In the official statement the family are sharing how happy they are:

“We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born Sept. 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family.”

Besides, the new parents are thanking their fans for respecting their privacy in such an important moment in their lives.

Olive has become the first child for both Drew and Will. According to them, they had been looking forward to welcoming their daughter for a long time, since both of them have always wanted to become parents. Despite the pregnancy rumors, that had started in February, Drew didn’t confirm she was expecting a baby for a pretty long time – until we saw a wedding photo of her, with a growing baby belly, in June.

Well, let’s just hope, Olive won’t be the only child in the Barrymore-Kopelman family! Who knows, maybe we’ll see pregnant Drew Barrymore some day again?
