Michelle Duggar Is Pregnant with 20th Child

The couple Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar definitely don’t like the number 19, so they decided to have one more child – at least one. Their reality show on TLC is not called 19 Kids and Counting for nothing! It’s time for counting in once more for them. On Tuesday they announced that their next baby, the 20th, is on the way.

The Today show has the latest information on the great event in an exclusive interview with Michelle Duggar, who is into her fourth month. She is 45 and she says she hadn’t been expecting to bear another child, but when God obliged, she and Jim Bob Duggar felt “so excited” and “so grateful.”

The Duggar brood couldn’t take the news in at first, thinking that their parents were joking. Her husband chose to announce the news to the kids when they had been arranged on the staircase for taking a picture – he shouted out, “Smile – Mom’s going to have another baby!” Michelle was amused to see how their jaws fell and they swung round to take a look at her and decide whether it was true.

As for her hubby Jim Bob, he claims to be thrilled at his Number 20, for he is sure that all his kids “are so sweet” and they are a blessing bestowed on them by God. Besides, he said they had never meant to have an uneven number of children.

Michelle’s already past her first trimester sick spells; apart from that she is in good health and even believes she is better fit than 20 years ago, especially after a year’s workouts five and more days every week! Her food craving is dill pickles.

The gender of the baby will be known by Christmastime.

Their youngest girl, Josie, to turn two in December, proved a trial to the family at the time due to her gall-bladder problems and preeclampsia that caused premature delivery by more than three months. Thus Josie was saved and now enjoys excellent health.

From Josie the youngest, the Duggars’ children to the oldest, 23-year-old Joshua: Jordyn-Grace, Jennifer, Jana, Johannah, Jackson, Justin, James, Jason, Jeremiah, Jedidiah, Joy-Anna, Josiah, Joseph, Jinger, Jessa, Jill, John-David.
