Every young mother faces the problem of getting back in shape after giving birth, and everyone solves it in a different way. Some prefer to take to a rigid diet and begin to exercise at once. This is the least healthy method, since the body needs some time to recover from stress. Loads are harmful physiologically, especially because of the recently formed post-natal stretch marks.

Some young mothers prefer to do nothing at all, believing that nature will get its way. In some cases, the body really is restored to the former proportions, but this is an exception rather than the rule. So you should try to get yourself back in shape after having a baby, but do no be in a hurry.

Wearing a corset is one of the most effective ways to get back in shape. In April this year, actress Jessica Alba admitted that after the birth of her daughters Honor and Haven she wore corsets. Once another popular actress Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted in a corset from Agent Provocateur shortly after the birth of her son Moses, who is now seven years old.

Consultant gynecologist from a London clinic Clive Spence-Jones says there are two reasons why corsets after pregnancy are beneficial. During pregnancy, rectus abdominus muscles, which extend up to the central part of the abdomen, are divided, leaving a hole in the shape of a crescent. Eventually muscles need to connect, and a corset helps in it. Moreover, it supports the back, helps with posture, and makes muscles work properly. But be sure to consult your doctor. Women after cesarean will hardly be comfortable wearing a corset.
