The younger fashionistas are to learn from their moms – connoisseurs of the French brand – and that’s why the the new Lanvin Petite children line so desperately reminds us of the adult outfits – even the fabrics used here are the same. And it’s not just the fabrics: romantic flounces, plump bows, shiny folds and wild prints are also borrowed from the ‘older’ generation.

The only thing that distinguishes young fashionistas from their adult ‘colleagues’ is shimmering tiaras scattered with large stones that adorn the children’s heads, while adult princesses prefer designer shoes and handbags.
